The generosity of those who donate money or remember us in their wills has helped Orana Family Services to continue its tradition of care for children and their families since 1888.

Most importantly, this valuable support has helped us to develop programs, seek new challenges, move to areas of higher need and provide our support and expertise to new and developing communities.

Your donations and bequests work by:

  • supporting the children in our care by providing them with better homes, education, social and emotional supports
  • supporting our early intervention and prevention strategies that help families develop and maintain their strong natural networks
  • contributing to our community programs which lead to long-term family and community strengthening.

You can choose a specific purpose for your dontation to support:

  • early childhood programs
  • out of home care programs
  • new child welcome pack - doona cover and bedlinen, towels in colour and design of child's choice, teddy bear and special blanket
  • teenage child welcome pack - doona cover and bedlinen, towels in colour and design of young person's choice
  • family services
  • general Orana Family Services program and activity support
  • sponsor a child's participation in an outside of school activity such as sporting, arts or music
